About Gold

CENTURY 21 Gold was founded in the summer of 2011 as a result of 2 local real estate companies (CENTURY 21 Advance Realty and CENTURY 21 Call First) merging together to form one of Berks County’s biggest real estate companies.

CENTURY 21 Advance Realty was originally founded in 1985 by John M. Herman, Esq and was originally known as Landmark Realty, a predominantly commercial/industrial company. This company joined the CENTURY 21® System on May 31, 1990. CENTURY 21 Advance Realty became a force in the residential marketplace located in Exeter Township on Perkiomen Avenue starting out with just seven residential agents.
In April of 1993, Gabrielle J. “Wink” Dietrich, (ABR, CRB, e-Pro, GRI, SRES, SRS, WCR, CSP, CRMS, CCPS) an Associate Broker licensed since 1978, joined the company as Vice President. John and Wink shared a vision and that vision started here – to make CENTURY 21 Advance Realty a professional, financially successful, award winning company that would maintain a level of service, both to the clients and to the agents and staff, unprecedented in the real estate industry.

In July of 1997, Wink became the Broker of Record for CENTURY 21 Advance Realty while John continued to build the commercial/industrial division of the company.

CENTURY 21 Call First was founded in 1995 by Broker Paul W. Ernst, who was the top producing CENTURY 21 agent in a three county area. Paul started CENTURY 21 Call First in the Temple area on Allentown Pike seeing that being a prime location especially for the New York buyers who were coming down to purchase property here in Berks County.

Paul’s vision for his company was to provide to buyers and sellers a company with the most convenient office hours. His office was opened 7 days a week including weeknight hours until 9:00PM so that customers could come in at their leisure, even still receive the same service that most companies only offered to 5:00PM.

CENTURY 21 Call First grew and opened up 2 branch offices, one in Douglassville and one in Pottstown to expand their coverage area. Between the three different offices, CENTURY 21 Gold had boasted approximately 100 agents servicing Southeast Pennsylvania. CENTURY 21 Call First consolidated all three of its offices for the merge with CENTURY 21 Advance Realty.

Now that both companies have merged to form CENTURY 21 Gold, we have two locations in Temple and in Exeter Township. Together we have over 130 agents and a full service seasoned support staff. Our Mission Statement continues to state “you still matter,” and our Vision will always be to hold that lofty goal as our main endeavor. With our in-house resources and the CENTURY 21® System behind us, we provide the best place for new and experienced real estate agents to work!
